Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello is an American actress. Her film roles include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016). On television, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998), with additional starring roles, including Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the show Goliath in 2016 and from 2017 until 2021 as Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the series NCIS. Bello was born on April 18, 1967 in Norristown, Pennsylvania,[2] to Kathy Bello, a nurse at school and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In the seventh grade at Villanova University, she majored in political science. Bello learned to act through a variety of New York theater productions following her graduation. Bello and Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. In November 2013, she wrote about having a sexual relationship with her former partner, Clare Munn. She published a book called Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the Labels We Give to Ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28 2015.).
